REI=Universal KI=Life force energy

Reiki is the worlds most established healing form.
Reiki means: Spiritually universal guided life-force energy.
The healing energy is a spiritual energy of total unconditional love that comes from the universe. Healing exists everywhere around us. Reiki works with the body’s natural healing processes and replenishes the energy supply.

We and everything around us is made out of energy. When we stress, think negative or get exposed to destructive experiences, we get blockages in our energy fields, which develop to sickness, pain and obstacles in our everyday life, conscious or subconscious. Reiki is a simple, natural and powerful healing method to balance and remove these blockages that are the root of problems.

Reiki works perfectly fine whether you believe it or not. It also always goes where it is needed, lets sat you want to heal your feet but have another problem that has “higher priority”, the healing will go there .

Reiki can never end and you can never send or receive to much of it. A healing process after a treatment can continue up to 28 days afterwards and you can notice changes in all life dimensions as physical, spiritual, mental, emotional and social.

Reiki is now classed as rehabilitative healthcare by the Tax Agency in Sweden, among many other countries.

Reiki has been used in many ancient cultures under many names. The modern healing system called Reiki was however founded in the early 19th century by a man called Dr.Mikao Usui. He went to a Buddhist-school at the age of four, by the mountain Karuma. There he learned a method for improving his energy-flow. Mikao was also well educated in medicine, psychology, religion, politics and divination.

When he reached the age of 49 he had a 21 day cure with meditation and other energy exercises and the healing came to him. He named his method Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho, and for seven years he helped poor and sick people. He passed away 1926 and by then he had learned more than 2000 people Reiki and educated 16 masters.

His master student Dr Chujiro Hayashi documented and developed reiki and called it Hayashi Shiki Reiki Ryoho. His reiki style has been brought to the west by Hawayo Takata who lived in Hawaii. From there, Reiki spread rapidly all across US and Europe.
